We successfully ordained Terri and Jim on Wednesday evening.  It was an amazing celebration with 170 plus in attendance.  The church looked glorious, with so many smiling faces of Terri’s and Jim’s family and friends.  I wish we could see them every Sunday. 

The Altar Guild outdid themselves in considering every detail in the preparations.  Their hands worked with speed and grace to get everything done.  What a blessing to have such dedicated ladies serving God.  The roses on the altar truly represented the presence of the Holy Spirit among us. 

The Choir sounded like angels serenading us, especially with the rich male voices adding to the worship.  The Anthem, I, the Lord of Sea and Sky, was such a powerful expression of the central focus of the evening worship.  Ginger did a wonderful job of bringing out the gifts of all of the choir members and complementing the liturgy so nicely.  Thank you for sharing your gifts for the glory of God.   

Thank you to Cynthia Mann, who tirelessly worked and worked on getting the bulletins together.  It truly has been a production involving several weeks of revisions. 

Thank You, Thank You, Thank you…. to all members of the Care Committee and their spouses who contributed food and helped with the delightful reception after the Ordination.  The food was delicious with such beautiful presentation on sparkling silver trays. The wine flowed freely, you would have thought we were at the Wedding at Cana.
