Dominican Republic Discovery Mission Trip

I am excited to be a part of this trip.  Seven people, from five different congregations, in the Diocese of Georgia will be participating in a discover trip to the Dominican Republic February 22-27. The purpose of the trip is to look at existing missions sites and to identify potential mission sites for parishes who are interested in partnering in mission work in the Dominican Republic.  We believe that one of the most efficient ways to help with the crisis in Haiti is to strengthen the ability of the Dominican Church to provide relief through their existing missions.  A second discovery trip is being formed for the near future.
